Nautical experiences, Atlantic crossings and sailing
I was born and raised a few kilometers from the sea, in Quartu Sant’Elena, Sardinia. At 5 years old I got my first diving mask, and shortly after my first sail was a windsurf, then dinghies and small cabin boats.
I have extensive experience, about 30 years, in nautical charter gained working with many companies in the sector and independently with my own boat. I have sailed throughout the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, with 4 equator crossings.
I have crossed the Atlantic Ocean under sail 22 times, to and from Brazil and the Caribbean. 7 crossings of the Caribbean Sea. I have now sailed over 300,000 miles.
